a few of my favorites

    • Go Chlo Pilates: I came across Chloe de Winter via a free Well & Good exercise video that kicked my butt, and I am so grateful that I did! I have done a lot of Pilates in the last 16 years, and it’s safe to say that Chloe is the best teacher I have had. I recently completed a 28-day fitness challenge, and have never felt better. To give you an idea of just how good of a teacher Chloe is, my athletic and boxing-bag-punching-husband who has always refused my Pilates invitations in the past, joined in on the fun during the Pandemic and now makes Pilates a regular part of his routine. Affordable and convenient, especially because she includes short “movement snacks” to fit in your busy day. Be prepared for a lot of juicy circles, donkey kicks and squats!!

    • Obe Fitness: Another great digital platform. I love this site because you can select your workout based on the amount of time you have (ahem, 10 minutes is enough time to workout!), the body part you want to focus on, your favorite instructor, and what type of workout you want (cardio, strength, barre, etc)

    • If you are someone who needs a little hand holding when it comes to exercise, then I highly recommend working with a personal trainer. Raquel Karidis Cunningham was my CPT for years before she moved back to her home state of California. One of the things that makes Raquel so special, is her background working with physical therapists. She really undersatnds how the body moves and how to tailor exercises to benefit an individual. She’ll also have your body burning, but you’ll be enjoying your time with her so much, you might not notice that your muscles are on fire! If you’re interested in working virtually with Raquel, please submit a Contact Me form and I will put you in touch.

  • my favorite podcasts:

    • Be Well By Kelly: she is celebrity nutritionist, and Mom to two young boys who breaks down complex nutritional information in a very understandable way.

    • Peds Doc Talk: unbiased, practical information from a Pediatrician who is also a toddler mom

    • The Daily: a great way to deep dive in to relevant cultural topics. This podcast makes news interesting without the drama.

    • Deliciously Ella: if I could , I would like to be Ella Mills for a day so i could understand how she does it all. She and her husband bring on incredible guests across the wellness spectrum and make you just as curious about what they are learning. Their accents are also top notch.

  • cookbooks: my not so guilty pleasures

    • My Father’s Daughter: this book has been loved. Like her or hate her, Gwenyth Paltrowe serves up some incredibly delicious and healthy recipes in this book that I find myself going back to time and again.

    • Jerusalem: Not the easiest recipes, but the food photography is superb triggering a mouth-watering response, to the point you will envision yourself in the kitchen whipping up Yotam’s recipe like you are the next Julia Child.

    • Helmsley & Helmsley: I would like to eat everything in this book and the best part is, if I did, I wouldn’t feel guilty about one dish.
